I've bought and built many, many feeders in the last 25 or so years. This one is simply the best, prettiest and most rugged one I've ever owned...and certainly best one for the price. I bought this one to replace the last (Silver version) one I had. The reason I had to replace it after 12 years was a construction project went awry and it was knocked down and partially crushed by a large excavator.
Since the last one I owned, they updated the tubes and added small doors to allow your own choice of small thistle seed or large Sunflower seed in any or all of the three tubes. Nice touch! This product is ALL Pros and NO Cons.

We had to replace our longtime favorite tube feeder that was no longer manufactured. It surprised us that there are so many poor designs available and found only this one that was similar to our old one. A good feeder (in our opinion) needs a large dome to help keep the seed dry and clean and a wide platform for cardinals. Metal feeding ports with perches are essential to prevent squirrel damage and accommodate small birds. We also want a large volume for multiple types of seeds. Price was not as important, but this was a deal! We found all these options and were surprised on how easy it was to fill, the top screws off in seconds. It appears that it will be easy to keep clean. Time will tell how durable it is but the birds are happy and that is what most important!

We purchased this feeder to replace a 10 year old triple tube feeder of similar design. This one is solidly built and works as advertized. The real beauty of this feeder is the color and clean design. It looks much better in front of you than the picture can show - a pleasure to look at, and the birds are very happy with it as well. Cardinals, which are ground feeders, seem quite comfortable sitting on the bottom of this feeder where they wouldn't on the prior all-clear one before. A recommended product for bird lovers.
